YEE-HAW! Our Rodeo Weekender Wrapped up! - Beerfarm

YEE-HAW! Our Rodeo Weekender Wrapped up!

As the dust finally settles on the third successful Rodeo, we thought it as good a time as any to give this epic weekend event the wrap up it deserves.

We were so stoked that this year's event SOLD OUT!

Our onsite camping also sold out and saw 1,000 attendees pitching tents and swags as well as dropping in caravans and camper trailers in the designated areas so they could be fully immersed in the weekender experience.

Starting the weekend strong with the Friday night Hoedown, 1,000 cowboys and cowgirls kicked back on the grass to enjoy the musical delights of Delilah Rose, Yurti Band, Dave Kent Duo, Lightnin’ Jack and the legends Old Blood.

Saturday morning while the Beerfarm kitchen pumped out tasty brekkie burgers, the Junior Rodeo eased us in for the day, followed by qualifying rounds for the main event.

With the ABCRA and Double Barrel at the helm of the Rodeo Championship it was a day of family fun and entertainment in the arena.

The Full Point Rodeo kicked off from 2pm with 4,000 patrons spectating, cheering on, enjoying beers, buying wares and tucking into some tasty grub.

A range of local food vendors and the Beerfarm kitchen pumped out thousands of delicious delights while the beers flowed from the array of bars - Royal Haze and our newly launched spicy Ginger beer being the top sellers quenching the crowds' thirst.

The younger attendees could head to our kids area to play in the playground or on the giant inflatable slides before getting their face painted. A mix of market stalls covered anyone chasing mementos, from cowboy hats to hot sauce! Yee-hawww!

An epic sunset rolled in as the day closed out and the evening festivities began.

Boot-scootin fun ensued into the second evening of musical entertainment on the full stage at the bottom of the hill on the grounds. Some damn fine tunes from Ill Starred Captain, Scott Basham, Savanah Solomon, Dave Kent, Brothers In Arms and Kingswood for the finale rounded out the event!

HUGE thanks to everyone who made this weekend the success that it was.

From the organisers, sponsors, volunteers, musicians, vendors, competitors and attendees - the combined contributions made this one hell of an event!

As with any event here we have taken a lot away from this weekend so that future Beerfarm events are even more epic.

Cheers legends!
